The first icon on your bottom menu bar is your Flutterpedia! Your Flutterpedia keeps a brightly coloured, fully illustrated history of your forest, and all the butterflies and creatures you have collected! It also has scientific facts for each butterfly, and all your other forest buddies, like the Beefly, and your Poison Dart Frog. Lastly, it also keeps a record of all the missions you have completed, and the missions still needing to be completed, and a list of all your Goals!
On each butterfly page, you’ll see five pieces of information (or fig.) to unlock. You earn these by levelling up that species. Be sure to return to the page each time you level up, and “claim” that piece of the page, as this will also increase your Flutterpedia Score.
Check out the page of a butterfly you haven’t collected yet, and you’ll see it’s trait symbols in the top left of the page. These tell you the Region, Size, and Rarity of the butterfly, which will help you when choosing flowers to attract that species to your sanctuary!
If there is a number in a little red circle on the flutterpedia icon, this means you have something to collect or unlock from the Flutterpedia! It could be a fact, a goal reward or mission reward!
