When a special event begins you will be guided through an event tutorial by the turtle on how to play the event. You will notice a new food pot has arrived in your reef. Tap this to see what food it has.
The ingredients that are used to create the fish and the number of fish you can create can be viewed by tapping the Aquapedia. The ingredients will drop from other event fish when you release them.
